This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join the Purchasing team at PT Xinyi Glass Indonesia, based in Gresik, East Java. As a Purchasing professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's manufacturing and logistics functions.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and terms for raw materials, components and services.
2. Evaluating and selecting suitable suppliers based on factors such as quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
3. Preparing and issuing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries and following up on any issues.
4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and forecasting future purchasing requirements.
5. Collaborating with the Production and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
6. Identifying opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and drive cost savings.

What we're looking for

1. Relevant university degree or equivalent in a related field such as Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
3. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office applications.
6. Fluency in English and/or Mandarin.
